This was a very interesting and informative book. It talks about Black women and what they have gone through from post slavery to today. In this book they had narratives and qoutes from not only Black women but from other races and genders, about the struggles this group of women had to go through to become a respected citizen of the United States. I give it five out five stars. I bought it from Half.com at a great price.
