Jealousy

Hey Everyone,
I found this old poem that I wrote a long time ago and I just wanted to share it with you guys.

My love and his friend

Joking, laughing,their relationship so innocent

Someone taps me from behind

What I saw could blind

The smile so inviting

Could sell anything worth buying

 Her teeth so white they seem to be gleaming

I should have know all the while she was scheming

Her green eyes looks at me

Trying to hint at something that will make me leave.

The voice tells me a story, a lie mind you

Telling me everything but the truth

She touches my shoulder

Saying that it's over

She almost had me convinced

My mind wouldn't let me relent

Her words are not what I believe

Yet what she says clouds what I see

Jealousy is her name

Ruining people's lives is her game

Listening to her, urges my insecurities

Driving my mind into insanity

Blinding me to what's really there

Believing that they do not care

Jealousy is burning me inside

Causing my sanity to hide

I know what's the truth and what's a lie

So why am I letting this go by?

Jealousy is her name

I love him more than the air, I breathe

And I know he loves me

So why am I letting this lady get the best of me?

Is it because I'm weak?

The answer is that I'm scared...

I've already been scarred.

Jealously has that knowledge

Tries to push me over the leadge

Laughing at me

Playing with me

I ignore her try to live my life

Trying me best to live without strife

All I need is trust and love

With my faith in the man above

Jealousy walks way

Promising me that I'll be hers one day

Nail Polish

She did it!!!!

Hey All,
I'm three days late with this but my mom did the big chop . She only transition for a month or two and decided that she just couldn't do the relaxers anymore and took a plunge. I took her to my boyfriend's barbershop and within an hour she was fully natural . I'm so proud of her and she's sporting her twa with such confidence it's amazing. For a few seconds I was thinking of doing a third big chop, but then came to my senses. That's all for now. Much love and God Bless

Not so much

Hey All,
I wanted my twists to be curly, but I didn't have any rollers or rods. So I thought if I twisted my twists in medium twists, when I unravel them they'll be curly. Well that idea didn't work...but it did elongate my twist a little more

Coconut Oil

Hey Everyone,
I bought a jar of Organic Coconut Oil from Whole Foods last week and it's awesome! I've been using in substitution of hair oil for my scalp ( I hate oil running all over my face and neck ). Since my apartment is cool the oil stays in it's solid form and it has the same feeling as grease, so it's easier for me to use. I've also have been using it to moisturize my skin at nice. My skin is so soft and has a glow to it . I'll post up pics later. Anywho much love and God Bless!!

One Sided

Hey All,
I just wanted to stop by and show you guys this style that I tried last night when I went out to dinner. I first spritezed my hair with the Lemongrass Leave In from the Alikay Naturals line, then I rubbed some of my Shea butter mix throughout my hair (I ran out of the hair parfait ). I then used three combs to pin my hair down to one side, I fluffed the side that was out and that's it. Much love and God Bless!!! Ttyl

A defined braidout

Hello All,
Just wanted to show you guys a defined braid out I achieved. I shampooed,conditioned, and moisturized with Alikay Naturals products. Then I blew my hair out and braided my hair into 16 plaits. The next morning I took them down and was very pleased with the results . Much love and God Bless!!

Stretched Two Strand Twist

Hey,
Just wanted to show you guys my stretched two strand twists. First I washed my hair with Alikay naturals black soap bar. Then I followed up with the coconut conditioner, it smells so good , and I detangle then put big twists all over. After I left it in for about ten minutes, I rinsed it out and towel dried. I sprayed the lemongrass conditioner all over and but a little bit of the parfait on each section and blow dried my hair. It took me about for hours to do these twists.

Hey

Hey Everyone,
Sorry I haven't been on for awhile, I've been super busy. First off I've became a cat mommy . I have a tuxedo kitten that was given to me along with his twin sister. My sister has his twin now her name is Olivia and my baby name is Oreo.



Isn't he adorable!! I've met few other naturals why have been out and about, it's feels so good to see so many on their journeys. I've been experimenting with my hair. My hair now is back to its natural color, yay, and I still love blackonyxx's hair line alikay naturals. My hair has been in mostly twists and twist out. Today I have my hair in a Mohawk with a pompadour in the front( my rockstar look).
